President HOANG VINH GIANG

Le Président Giang nous a quittés en raison d’un accident vasculaire cérébral survenu ce samedi 11 septembre. Le Président aura travaillé jusqu’au bout pour les arts martiaux traditionnels vietnamiens. Nous échangions quasiment tous les jours, avant-hier à 2 heures du matin (heure de HaNoi) et jusqu’à hier encore, à 19:00. Je publierai prochainement le projet de la profession de foi pour les 10 années à venir que le Président venait juste de terminer d’écrire. En attendant de connaître le sentiment de tous les correspondants de la WFVV à travers le monde, le Président insistait encore, comme il le fait depuis toujours, sur la nécessité de rassembler et d’unir.  » … un jour, le Vocotruyen Vietnam sera olympique, nous serons olympiques … », et il avait ajouté, en souriant :  « … tu sais, nous ne serons peut-être plus là pour l’apprécier …mais … ».

Le Vocotruyen a perdu un grand homme; nous perdons un grand-frère, un parent, un mentor, un père spirituel, un ami. Nous ne perdrons pas cet engagement et ce concept  qu’il a su nous insuffler.

Que vive le Vocotruyen Vietnam ! … longtemps, unifié pour être encore plus fort: c’est le meilleur hommage que nous puissions rendre au Dr. Prof. Président Hoàng Vĩnh Giang.

President Giang passed away due to a cerebrovascular accident (CVA) that occurred on Saturday September 11th. The President will have worked until the end for the traditional Vietnamese martial arts. We exchanged almost every day, the day before yesterday at 2 a.m. (HaNoi time) and until yesterday at 7 p.m. I will soon publish the profession of faith project for the next 10 years that Mister President had just finished writing. While waiting to know the feelings of all the WFVV correspondents around the world, President Giang still insisted, as he has always done, on the need to be all together, united. « … one day, Vocotruyen Vietnam will be Olympic, we will be Olympic … », and he added, smiling: « … you know, maybe we will not be there anymore to enjoy it  .. . but … ».

The Vocotruyen has lost a great man; we lose a big brother, a parent, a mentor, a spiritual father, a friend. We will not lose this commitment and this concept that he so well knew to instill in us.

Long live to Vocotruyen Vietnam! … for a long time, united to be even stronger: this is the best tribute we can pay to Dr. Prof. President Hoàng Vĩnh Giang.
